The health resort of royals and the local Thai people
Hua Hin offers the best of several worlds
Hua Hin is the very own health destination of the Thai population, located around 200 km southwest of Bangkok. People come here for the beaches, to swimming and for the best food outside of Bangkok. Not everything is adapted to tourism making this an ideal place to experience the Thai culture and nature.
The destination leads its own life indeed. Excursions available from here are exciting, interesting and stunningly beautiful. Excursion destinations are plenty and we can particularly recommend Sam Roi Yod, the national park around 25 km south of Hua Hin.
Hua Hin is also the royal seaside resort, the place that for nearly a hundred years has attracted the wealthiest people of Bangkok for recreational trips. Including royals from all over the world, among them Queen Silvia of Sweden.
International schools, first class hospitals, great shopping and a vast selection of golf courses and restaurants with food from all around the globe.
Many also come here for the golf. Hua Hin is Thailands leading golf destination with a handful of great courses. Black Mountain is the Swedish-built and most famous course, nowadays part of the PGA tour.
Många kommer också för golfen. Hua Hin är Thailands främsta golfdestination med en handfull riktigt bra banor. Black Mountain är den svenskbyggda och mest kända banan. Den ingår numera i PGA-touren.
The southern tip of Hua Hin, Khao Takiab, is our destination. The calmest part with the best beach. Anastasila By The Sea is by far the best resort and our obvious choice for your yoga retreat.
Hua Hin har the most hours of sun in all of Thailand. Hua Hin is sheltered from the monsoon rain that hits other parts of the country. During the rain period July-October, however, some short but heavy showers may be experienced. See weather forecast for the entire year here.
